Going to a new country has never been easier, especially for me going abroad for the first time and taking my first flight direct flight from Jakarta, Indonesia to Manila, Philippines on September 26, 2023. At Ninoy Aquino International Airport, I went to NEUST. We were very nervous but hoping for the best.

We arrived at the NEUST dorm at around 10 pm then we rested to continue our activities the next day. After getting enough rest in our new room, we met other Indonesian friends who also happened to be taking part in a student exchange program for one semester. Then the next morning, we welcomed the Chancellor of NEUST and after that we were transferred to one of the NEUST campus branches where we will stay during the Sea Teacher program. After we arrived at the NEUST campus branch, we were greeted very warmly by many lecturers and deans in the faculty and we were also introduced to our mentor who will guide us throughout this program. We met many new friends during our first week. Surprisingly, they are very kind, friendly, and sweet. Our worries disappeared on the first day. Then before we focused on the initial goal of this program, for about four days we were introduced to the culture, history and people on the NEUST Gabaldon campus and didn't forget we also explored a little of the tourist attractions there, we really enjoyed this because of many things. which is new for us and also very fun.

Then after that we focused back on the initial objectives of this program. We conducted classroom observations, observed how the teacher taught, observed the classroom atmosphere and also observed the material being taught to the children. After several observations we were advised to teach first to support the Final Demo and make it a good and very memorable Final Demo. We taught several times for myself. I taught seventh and eighth grades several times, then I also taught at the elementary school there. I was very impressed with the children there, they were very active, very friendly and I felt very close to them, even though when I first arrived I was very nervous but after a few days of getting to know them it made me very comfortable and like I was at home. We do a lot of things together in class while studying together, we also joke around a bit, we laugh together and we share knowledge about each other's languages. Until finally the day when the Final Demo arrived on October 18 2023, I was very nervous about preparing teaching materials and lesson plans but thanks to the help of my mentor and the people who helped me, it made it easier for me to prepare all these things. I was very nervous at the start of learning. but when I was in the middle I was able to control my nervousness and provided a very good class atmosphere in my opinion and thankfully I got a very high score for me and I never thought that I would get a score that high.

The saddest day occurred when the closing celebration of this program was held on October 20 2023, I couldn't hold back my tears when I gave a speech about my experience and how grateful I was to the students and anyone who helped me in carrying out this program. The students gave me mementoes, and the lecturers also gave me souvenirs and gifts, which made me very sad to remember that this program had ended. I just want to say thank you very much for giving me a lot of new knowledge and giving me a lot of experience
