At the end of the lesson, students will be able to:

1. Explain what ELECTRONIC SEARCH ENGINE is ;

2. identify the most commonly used search engines;

3. use search engine in finding information; and

4. participate actively in the class activities.

Motivation

The teacher will let his students sing a song about computer screen pointer, and answer the following questions.

Guided Questions

2. Have you seen a computer mouse pointer before? How does it look like?

5. What do you think is the importance of using a pointer in navigating a website?

Since the most popular among the electronic search engines is Google Chrome, then we will focus our discussion on how to search using it studying its the parts.

The learners will be grouped into eight (8). Each group will use an android cellphone and use the chrome search engine to look for the following topics and make a simple descriptive text in one paragraph. Each groups’ representative will present their outputs in front of the class.
